MUDGEE

Its stunning scenery, quaint township and good old fashioned pubs make Mudgee a great place to live and visit.

Logan’s vineyards and tasting room in Mudgee are located in the picturesque hamlet of Apple Tree Flat. The beautiful undulating country has rich volcanic soil laced with quartz. Its climate is mild with cool summer nights extending the ripening period.

Cool spring days and cold nights delay budburst; rainfall and humidity are low, sunshine hours are great. The summer and autumn days are warmer than Orange due to the lower altitude. The unusual intensity of the highland sunshine gives the wines incredible colour and powerful fruit flavour, while continual cool temperatures create complexity and heightened savoury characters.

Mudgee’s well-drained loam and clay soils are highly suited to viticulture and produce wines of great depth and character.

Elevation of the Logan vineyards ranges between 500 and 600 metres above sea level.

Come and visit us, our Tasting Room is open 7 days a week.
